Barn Picture

Farming is one solid and continuing things in this country. When the country was first created, food didn't come from Japan and other foreign countries. It was born and raised here. Today, the prices are doing very well. This is allowing farmers to have tons of the stress that they normally feel go away. They no longer have to worry if they are going to make a profit or if they will have enough money to make the payments. However, they still aren't out of the clear yet. There is always the huge chance that prices will go back to the way they were. Having corn above $4.00 per bushel is huge. If it goes back down to $1.00 per bushel a lot of farmers will be hurting once again. It is nice having the comfort and knowing that you can go out and purchase something big and knowing that you will be able to pay for it. Farmers take the biggest risk out of anyone. They gamble each and every day. Keeping their operation going is something that takes time, energy, and lots of money. At any given time a hail storm can come through and knock out any profit that they will have come in. The prices could crash. A tornado could ruin all of their crops. In the end, farmers have and always will be the backbone of America. They work extremely hard for what they have, lets just hope the prices stay where they are.
